high-upside Boise State LB with four-star pedigree, but still chasing a bigger role
Martineau arrived at Boise State as a highly rated recruit from Oregon City, where he flashed two-way playmaking juice and a nose for the ball; in his limited college action, he recorded a half-sack against Eastern Washington in 2025 and earned praise for showing up with real pop in spring practice. The big draw is the athletic ceiling: rangy at 6-3, physical, and versatile enough to project as an impact linebacker if he keeps stacking strength and snaps. He’s more of a long-term upside bet than a proven producer right now.
