Tree Saine brings rim protection, rebounding, and veteran toughness
LaTrese Saine is a 6-foot-4 center whose calling card is defense: at Southeast Missouri State, she led the Ohio Valley Conference in blocks in the 2020-21 season with 103, earned OVC Defensive Player of the Year, and was named First Team All-OVC; that same season she averaged 10.38 points and 8.54 rebounds with eight double-doubles. For Clemson, the appeal is simple: she offers size, physicality, and paint protection from a battle-tested post who has produced at a high level and plays with real edge. If you need a rugged interior anchor, she’s the kind of fit that quietly changes games.
