Bobby Barnes brings Delta Devils edge, but verifiable 2026 football production is still thin
Bobby Barnes is listed as a Mississippi Valley State defensive end, but public 2026 football stat lines and scouting coverage are sparse, so the safest read is that he’s still more of a watchlist player than a nationally validated impact edge rusher. If he fits your team, it’s likely for traits scouts love in a DE: frame, motor, and upside to develop into a disruptive piece rather than immediate, loudly advertised production. The big question is whether his practice-to-game transfer and pass-rush consistency can catch up to the role.
