Alcorn State's Explosive WR with Untapped Potential
Marti Shelby, a dynamic wide receiver for the Alcorn State Braves, stands out with his blistering speed and agility honed from high school stardom at Shelby Golden Lions (13-3 record in 25-26 season, NC Rank 38 per MaxPreps), where he led unbeaten runs to state semifinals. His differentiator is resilient intensity—bouncing back from injuries like a QB teammate's broken hand—making him a clutch performer with explosive playmaking ability. Ideal for teams needing a high-motor WR who turns struggles into strengths; watch for breakout in 2026 SWAC contention.
