Joe Martin brings veteran linebacker grit to Idaho State
Joe Martin is a seasoned Idaho State linebacker whose value shows up in the dirty work: physical run fits, reliable tackling, and the kind of experience that steadies a defense. ESPN lists him as Idaho State’s linebacker, while a 2019 NFL Draft Diamonds interview frames him as a disciplined, high-motor defender with a strong competitive edge. The main draw is his linebacker IQ and toughness — the kind of profile coaches trust when they want a tone-setter, not just a box-score guy.
