Troy Young brings veteran, physical cornerback play to UAB
In the 2021 season, Troy Young appeared in all 13 games for UAB and finished with 27 tackles and a quarterback hurry, showing dependable, week-to-week availability and enough toughness to handle a full defensive role. At 6-0, 205, he fits the profile of a sturdier, more physical corner who can support the run and hold up against bigger receivers. The main appeal is his experience and consistency; if your team values reliability, size, and a battle-tested defensive back who can contribute without needing the ball to find him, he’s a solid fit.
