Maggie Wright brings veteran point-guard savvy and coachable grit to Troy
In Troy’s program, Maggie Wright is listed as a 5-9 redshirt freshman guard from Ponce De Leon, Florida, with a strong prep résumé that includes four seasons starting at point guard, a Final Four run, and an East-West All-Star nod. She looks like a classic floor-general fit: steady, smart, and battle-tested rather than flashy, with the kind of leadership and competitive edge that tends to raise a team’s ceiling. The catch is that current college stat production isn’t available, so her value right now reads more through role, maturity, and upside than box-score volume.
