Charlie Hackett is a veteran Valpo defensive lineman with size and staying power
Charlie Hackett has been listed on Valparaiso’s football roster as a defensive lineman at 6'2" and about 220 pounds, giving the Beacons a compact but sturdy edge-setter profile rather than a pure flash athlete[1]. The public record available here does not show current-season game stats or recent honors, so the best read is that he brings experience, positional continuity, and the kind of blue-collar trench presence coaches usually trust for discipline and effort[1]. If your team values toughness, reliability, and a physically mature DL who fits a straightforward defensive identity, he’s a sensible look.
