Dathan Lyles brings veteran backcourt poise to CSUN
Dathan Lyles is a steady guard option for CSUN, valued more for feel, organization, and experience than headline-grabbing box-score noise. The available records show him in the Matadors’ rotation and listed as a guard, but there’s no current, verified 2025-26 stat line attached here—so the real appeal is fit: a composed backcourt presence who can stabilize possessions, defend with urgency, and complement higher-usage scorers. If your team needs a plug-and-play guard who understands the college game and won’t try to do too much, he’s the kind of under-the-radar piece coaches love.
