Blake Smith is Texas State’s dependable, move-the-chains tight end
In the 2025 season, Blake Smith logged 10 receptions for 105 yards for Texas State, showing a steady, physical TE who can stay involved without needing feature volume. At 6-foot-4 and about 247-255 pounds, he brings usable size, a reliable target profile, and enough burst to average 10.5 yards per catch in 2025. He transferred to Texas State in 2024 and has the look of a mature, assignment-sound tight end rather than a splashy stat-stuffer. If a team wants a sturdy, dependable TE with room to keep growing, Smith is worth a hard look.
