Aaron Dawson brought Big Play Juice to Valpo’s backfield
In the 2022 season, Aaron Dawson was a difference-maker for Valparaiso, rushing for 1,204 yards and ranking second in program history while also catching 15 passes for 139 yards[3][5][10]. His calling card was burst and explosiveness—he posted a 99-yard scoring run, had a 241-yard game against Morehead State, and was a first-team All-PFL selection[10][12]. He also showed versatility and durability across a heavy workload, making him the kind of back who can tilt a game when the blocking is clean[3][12].
