Butler’s veteran edge rusher with a linebacker’s build
Justin Markus is a 2019 Butler alumnus, listed at 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds as a redshirt senior DE, and his value has been more about versatility and maturity than flashy box-score numbers. Butler’s 2018 preview described him as a player in line for meaningful snaps, and his long progression from DB to LB to DE suggests he’s coachable, adaptable, and physical. If you want a steady, experienced defender who has added size and clearly earned staff trust, Markus fits the mold.
