Experienced UAPB QB with a quick-processing, dual-threat edge
Rontrell Bailey has been a steady name at quarterback for Arkansas-Pine Bluff, with UAPB listing him as a 6-foot-3, 235-pound junior signal caller and early-season reports showing he once had the job as the Golden Lions’ top QB. His best trait is feel: he can move the offense with both his arm and mobility, and past game notes show he’s flashed when protected, including a 155-yard, one-touchdown outing in 2009. The caution flag is durability and consistency, but if a team wants an experienced, physically built quarterback who can keep plays alive, Bailey is worth a look.
