Eli DeLaurier gives East Carolina a steady, efficient frontcourt option
In the 2025-26 season, Eli DeLaurier was a productive, low-mistake big for East Carolina, averaging 4.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in 15.8 minutes while shooting 42.3% from the field and an excellent 90.5% at the line. The 6-foot-10 forward’s appeal is efficiency, size, and feel: he rebounds enough to help, protects the ball, and doesn’t need much usage to stay useful. He also brings some continuity after health concerns during the season, which makes his summer health a promising sign for a bigger role.
