Andrew Gauna is San Diego’s power bat with playoff-level juice
In the 2026 season, Andrew Gauna has been one of San Diego’s most dangerous run producers, earning WCC Player of the Week honors after a monster weekend and later extending a team-best hot streak with clutch multi-hit games. He brings plus raw power, solid on-base ability, and the kind of situational hitting that plays in big innings—think RBI singles, not just moonshots. The fit question is easy: if your team wants a mature, graduate-transfer outfielder who can hit in the middle of the order and change a game fast, Gauna looks like a strong bet.
