Proven Delaware State DL with elite special-teams disruption
DeShields stood out at Delaware State in 2022 by appearing in all 11 games, recording 18 tackles, and tying for the national FCS lead with 4 blocked kicks, which shows real game-changing disruption beyond the box score.[6] He was also described by Delaware State coverage as a “star lineman,” and earlier team reporting credited him with 5.5 tackles for loss in a shortened season, reinforcing that he brings physicality, effort, and impact plays.[8] If you want a defensive lineman who can affect field position and create chaos with motor and toughness, he’s the kind of fit coaches notice fast.[3][6]
