Ray Ona Embo brings size, playmaking, and French-bred toughness to the Tulane backcourt
Ray Ona Embo is a 6-foot-5 guard whose best calling card is his combo of length, ball-handling, and passing feel—he averaged 8.0 points and 2.6 assists in his NCAA career, including 10.1 points and a team-high 3.4 assists per game in the 2017-18 season. He also showed real shooting utility, hitting 36.5% from three in that 2017-18 season. The bigger differentiator: he’s a versatile, experienced, international guard with proven production when healthy, though past knee injury issues are worth checking before betting on him as a full-minute engine.
