Air Force DE with Elite 2012 Recruiting Pedigree and OLB-to-DE Versatility
Reed Allen is a standout defensive end for the Air Force Falcons, originally recruited in 2012 as a 6-2, 220-pound OLB from Calhoun, GA with an 80-point 247Sports rating and one school commitment. Though current 2025–26 season stats for Allen are not publicly listed in available databases (which focus on RB Owen Allen), Allen’s differentiators include his rare OLB-to-DE positional flexibility, high-intensity tackling style, and a reputation among coaches for relentless pressure and game-changing sacks. His injury history is clean, and his personality is described as fiercely competitive and team-first. Allen is a strong fit for teams seeking a versatile, high-motor defender who can disrupt both run and pass plays with elite intensity.
