Mike Marcisz brought size, versatility and steady reliability to ASU’s offensive line
Marcisz’s value was his versatility and consistency: he played both tackle and guard, started 21 of 28 career games at Arizona State, and earned repeated Academic All-Conference recognition while handling a demanding engineering-style workload as a construction management major. In 2011, he started the first 10 games at left guard and was again recognized in ASU’s offseason strength program, a good sign of durability and buy-in. For a team, he profiles as a dependable line piece with positional flexibility, strong work habits and the kind of low-drama toughness coaches tend to trust.[1][4]
