Tavon Lofties is a long, disruptive edge presence with proven backfield juice
Tavon Lofties brings a rangy 6-5 frame, a history of producing in the backfield, and the kind of high-motor versatility that can make a defensive line coach smile. In the 2017 season, he played in 10 games and logged 20 tackles, including 4.0 tackles for loss, while earlier NCCU game notes show him flashing sack production in big moments. His profile suggests a physical, effort-driven DL who can create disruption rather than just occupy space—useful if your defense values length, pursuit, and tone-setting energy.
