Dawud Shorts brings veteran tight-end savvy to Lamar
Dawud Shorts is a seasoned Lamar tight end who has been around the program for multiple seasons, which gives him a built-in edge in communication, alignment, and reliability in the passing game[4][6][11]. In Lamar’s recent statistical history, the tight end room has been more of a functional piece than a volume attack, so Shorts’ value is less about flashy box-score production and more about being the experienced, steady, versatile type a staff trusts[4]. If your team wants a dependable TE who understands the offense and can help stabilize a room, Shorts looks like the kind of glue player coaches love.
