Bruce Grant brings verified straight-line speed and projection upside to Columbia's backfield
Bruce Grant is a Columbia running back whose standout trait is elite straight-line speed; Columbia’s staff specifically noted he had “the best straight-line speed” on the team, while also pointing to average hands and effort-based improvement in his receiving game. That profile makes him interesting as a fit for a team that wants a downhill, space-creating runner with big-play juice rather than just volume carries. The main caveat is that the available public scouting detail is from Columbia’s 2013 roster bio, so current-season production and recent durability data are not available from the provided sources.
