Amber Nichols brings veteran guard savvy and defensive toughness to Richmond
Amber Nichols is a 5-9 guard for Richmond whose value shows up in the little things: ball security, playmaking, and reliable two-way effort. In her most recent listed college season, she played limited minutes but showed a clean feel for the game, and her earlier Richmond years included steady assist production and occasional scoring punch. What separates her is veteran guard discipline, competitiveness, and the ability to fit into a structured system without needing the ball to be effective—useful traits if you want composure, communication, and low-drama depth on the perimeter.
