DJ Simmons brings compact, experienced linebacker value to UT Martin
DJ Simmons is a **redshirt senior linebacker** at UT Martin, listed at 5-10, 200, which suggests a lower-center-of-gravity defender built for leverage, pursuit, and special-teams toughness.[4] His profile matters less for flashy box-score production and more for the kind of dependable, scheme-conscious play a staff can trust from an older defender in a physically demanding role.[4] If you need a linebacker who can fit gaps, play with urgency, and bring veteran steadiness to a defense, Simmons looks like a solid depth-and-impact fit.
