Jacorey Whitted is Troy’s massive, experienced TE with real red-zone juice
Whitted enters the 2026 season as a 6'6", 278-pound third-year tight end at Troy after showing touchdown upside at Georgia Military in 2025, where he caught 4 passes for 51 yards and 2 scores, and he was a consensus 3-star recruit ranked among the nation’s better tight ends coming out of high school in 2024. He stands out as a physical blocker and matchup problem rather than a pure volume receiver, which makes him a strong fit for a team that wants a true in-line TE who can help in the run game and punish defenses near the goal line.
