Emma McDonald gives Evansville a clutch, high-upside bat in the outfield
Emma McDonald has quickly become one of Evansville’s most impactful offensive pieces, earning multiple MVC Newcomer of the Week honors in 2026 after hot stretches like a .444 week with four hits, three runs, and a walk-off RBI single, plus a .429 series in a sweep.[4][8][2] She brings middle-of-the-order pop and timely production, with season totals listed by Evansville as two home runs, 15 RBI, and 23 runs scored, and her recent homer and clutch-hit moments suggest a player who rises in pressure spots.[3][1]
