steady Western Illinois QB with some dual-threat utility
Ducey profiles as a dependable, low-drama quarterback who brings value beyond raw passing numbers, with ESPN listing him at 409 passing yards, 6 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions in the referenced season. His older roster bio also notes he was a consistent holder on special teams and even contributed as a backup runner, which points to a coach-friendly, versatile player who can help in multiple phases. For a team that wants composure, utility, and a QB who fits into a system without needing the spotlight, Ducey is an interesting depth-and-development fit.
