veteran Tulsa linebacker with steady, special-teams-first value
Zik Asiegbu brings veteran experience and a blue-collar profile to Tulsa’s defense; historically, his game has been built more on reliability, tackling, and special-teams utility than splashy stat lines, with career totals showing 47 combined tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries through his Tulsa tenure. His appeal is the kind coaches love: assignment-sound, physical, and willing to do the dirty work. If a team wants instant tone-setting and depth at linebacker rather than a headline-grabbing stat machine, he fits the bill.
