Arkansas State DE with Proven JUCO Pedigree and Sun Belt Recognition
Eddie Porter, a hard-hitting defensive end for the Arkansas State Red Wolves, burst onto the scene after a stellar freshman year at Blinn College in 2012, where he posted 22 tackles, 5 TFLs, 0.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles en route to an 8-3 bowl win; entering 2013, he earned Athlon Sports and Phil Steele's preseason Second Team All-Sun Belt honors as a 3-star recruit (No. 6 in Texas, 247Sports rating 87). His high-motor intensity and all-district HS roots make him a disruptive force ideal for teams needing versatile edge rushers—no notable injury history, just raw upside.
