Kansas DB Bobby Birhiray: ball-hawking, veteran cornerback with proven playmaking instincts
Bobby Birhiray is best known as a **playmaking defensive back** at Kansas, with documented interception ability and the size/physicality to hold up on the perimeter; in 2002, he logged a pick against Kansas State and was credited with five tackles in that game, while KU notes also list him as a right cornerback starter. His differentiator is instincts—he’s the kind of DB who can flip a possession, not just stay in coverage. If you value experience, toughness, and opportunistic hands over pure hype, he’s a fit.
