steady, savvy Samford guard who makes the offense hum
Brittany Stevens has been a reliable, high-IQ point guard for Samford, with strong playmaking and poise as her calling cards. In her Samford career, she was known for starting early, leading the team in assists as a freshman, and finishing as one of the program’s steadier all-around guards; ESPN lists her career line at 5.0 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 42.3% shooting. At 5-3, she wins with speed, decision-making, and toughness rather than raw size—exactly the kind of guard who raises a team’s floor and keeps the engine running.
