Big frame, big-play upside, still an unproven FAU weapon
A 6-foot-4, 200-pound freshman WR for Florida Atlantic, Mykel Calixte arrived as a three-star recruit with a track record of explosive production at Dr. Phillips, including 42 catches for 747 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior and a 10-catch, 309-yard, 2-TD eruption in one 2024 opener. He looks like a vertical mismatch who can win above the rim and stretch defenses, which is exactly the kind of length-and-speed profile that can fit a creative passing attack. The catch: he redshirted in 2025 and has yet to log college game action, so the appeal is upside, not proven production.
