Penn State Forward Who Evolved into Italian National Team Star
Jeff Brooks, a gritty 6'8" Penn State forward from the late 2000s-early 2010s, delivered career averages of 6.0 PPG and 3.8 RPG with a solid 47.4% FG in college, peaking at 7.4 PPG and 4.3 RPG as a junior while starting 12 games. His explosive athleticism and rebounding tenacity shone through, but he truly differentiated post-college, becoming a naturalized Italian star with a 2017 EuroCup title, Serie A championship, and multiple Italian Cup/Supercup wins—now anchoring Trieste in LBA (4.6 PPG, 5.2 RPG in recent 10 games). Care about him for his proven winning pedigree and international intensity; a veteran leader perfect for teams needing tough, experienced frontcourt depth.
