Sharif Denson brings SEC-tested versatility and run support to Ole Miss
In the 2025 season at Florida, Sharif Denson posted 53 tackles with 2 tackles for loss and a pass breakup, and Ole Miss brought him in as a senior safety to plug a depth need with proven SEC production. He stands out for his tackling range, willingness to work near the line of scrimmage, and versatility after being used as a nickel/DB piece; that physical edge is why he should fit a defense that wants safeties who can help against the run without disappearing in coverage. The knock is that he arrives as more of a sturdy, reliable piece than a splash-play machine.
