Holy Cross’s Matt Ferrel: veteran DL with size and experience, but current football data is scarce
Matt Ferrel is listed by Holy Cross as a defensive lineman from San Francisco, Calif., with a 6-2, 252-pound frame in the 2010 football fact book, and he earned Patriot League all-star recognition in 2011—evidence of a sturdy, experienced interior presence rather than a flashy stat-sheet rusher. The catch: publicly available football data on his current season performance is limited, so the best read is that he brings size, physicality, and veteran credibility—useful traits if a team wants a dependable trench piece who can hold his ground and do the dirty work.
