McNeese’s Interior Anchor with Prototypical DT Value
Vaalyn Jackson is listed by ESPN as a McNeese State defensive tackle, but the available public stat and scouting data are limited, so his current performance profile is harder to quantify from results alone.[3] What stands out most is the value of a true interior defender: if he can consistently hold gaps, absorb double teams, and create disruption up the middle, he fits the kind of defensive line role that translates to winning football even when box-score stats stay modest.[3] If your team needs a rugged, assignment-sound DT with upside in run defense and pocket collapse, he is worth a closer look.
