veteran Virginia safety with size and steady secondary value
Willie Davis is a Virginia safety whose profile is built more on continuity and defensive reliability than flashy box-score fireworks. In Virginia’s roster history, he’s listed as a 5-foot-10, 195-pound junior safety with multiple seasons in the program, which suggests a player coaches can trust for assignment discipline and back-end communication. The main reason to care: he brings experienced, positional depth to the Cavaliers’ secondary, and that kind of steadiness matters when you want fewer busts and more grown-man football.
