2009 Southland POY & McNeese Legend with 7K+ Yards
Derrick Fourroux is a **finished college legend**, not a current active player, having graduated in 2010 after a stellar four-year tenure at McNeese State where he earned **2009 Southland Conference Player of the Year** honors [2]. His differentiators include **elite durability** (24-10 as a starter) and **historical production** as the school's second QB with over **7,000 total offensive yards** [3]. In his final 2009 season, he posted a **64% completion rate** with 2,307 yards and 20 TDs [1]. While he offers **unmatched leadership and proven winning intensity**, he is **not a fit for any current team** as he is no longer active, though his legacy ranks him as McNeese's **6th all-time passing leader** with 3,416 career yards and 24 TDs [7].
