UNLV's Record-Tying Kicker from 2008 Era
Ben Jaekle, UNLV Rebels kicker in 2008, etched his name in program history by drilling two 52-yard field goals that season—tying the longest in school lore against UNR and New Mexico—showcasing ice-cold clutch accuracy and booming leg strength under pressure. Earlier at Nevada, a predecessor like Brett Jaekle hit from 50 yards in 2007, but Ben's heroics stood out for their rarity in Mountain West play. Ideal for teams needing a proven long-range specialist with battle-tested nerves, though his era's data limits modern scouting.
