a veteran Cajuns linebacker with proven toughness and next-level durability questions
Alonzo Brown is a redshirt senior linebacker for Louisiana in the 2026 season, listed at 6-0, 216, and his résumé shows real early-career production plus a major test of resilience after a knee injury ended his 2016 season early. He’s the kind of player coaches value for feel, physicality, and reliability in the middle of a defense—more grinder than highlight reel, but that can absolutely travel. If your team wants an experienced, hard-nosed LB who has already shown he can contribute, Brown fits; if you need a flashy stat-sheet star, he’s not that guy.
