veteran, physical DB with a proven ball-hawking track record
Boateng brings real experience and a knack for creating takeaways: at Kansas in the 2014 season he posted 9 tackles, 1 interception, and 5 pass breakups, and at Arizona Western in 2016 he added 27 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 2 PBUs. Fresno State’s roster lists him as a 6-0, 175-pound senior DB, while his pro résumé shows he earned starts at field-side cornerback in Toronto after a CFL draft selection. The upside is clear—length, versatility, and competitive edge—but the big question is whether his current form still matches that résumé.
