Cole Holmstrom’s early Sycamores profile: instant-shooting guard with MVC freshman polish
In the 2006-07 season, Cole Holmstrom was an MVC All-Freshman selection for Indiana State, making a three-pointer in 21 of 25 games and ranking second on the team with 25 threes; that tells you his best card is clear: floor-spacing and confidence from deep. He also showed starter-level poise with nine double-digit scoring games and a team-high 17 points in his debut, while later coverage noted his scoring dipped after freshman year, so his value looks strongest as a reliable catch-and-shoot guard rather than a high-usage creator.
