Ken Plue was a massive, experienced Purdue interior lineman with NFL-style size
Ken Plue was a 6-7, 366-pound offensive guard for Purdue who brought rare size, power, and multi-year starting experience to the Boilermakers’ line in the 2008-2010 seasons. In 2009, he earned honorable mention All-Big Ten recognition and Purdue’s Most Improved Player Award on offense, and in 2010 he appeared in 11 games with 10 starts while helping fuel a stretch of five straight 200-yard rushing performances. The big differentiator: he was more road-grader than finesse blocker, with a reputation built on strength, durability, and steady interior play—exactly the kind of tone-setter that can anchor a run game.
