Andrew Allen is giving Arkansas State a live, workhorse arm on the mound
In the 2026 season, Arkansas State right-hander Andrew Allen has shown starter-level bite and poise, including a seven-inning win with only three hits allowed over most of the outing and a career-high nine-strikeout performance against Louisiana. He’s a big-bodied arm at 6-foot-2, 210 pounds with a repeatable delivery, and his high-school résumé showed real pedigree as Alabama’s 2024 5A Pitcher of the Year. The fit is clear: if a team wants a durable strike-thrower who can miss bats and compete in pressure innings, Allen looks like the kind of pitcher who makes hitters earn every inch.
