Erica Yancey brings two-way guard upside, but current UTEP-specific public data is limited
Publicly available results for Erica Yancey are sparse, so the clearest basketball profile comes from her prior high-level production: she was a 2003-04 NJCAA Division II All-America second-team selection, ranked 12th nationally in scoring at 19.7 points per game, and added 7.7 rebounds, 3.3 steals, and 2.7 assists while shooting 41.5% from three and 84.8% at the line. That mix suggests a guard who can score efficiently, defend aggressively, and contribute across the box score—useful if you want toughness, versatility, and a proven competitor rather than just a pure shooter.
