Zach Morton brings NFL-trim size, edge pressure, and rotational value off the Albany/UAlbany pipeline
Morton profiles as a compact, disruptive edge defender with pro-sized length at 6'4" and around 260 pounds, but his college résumé at Albany was built more on steady disruption than gaudy totals: he played all 12 games in 2013, started the final five, and finished with 16 tackles, showing a reliable workrate and enough versatility to earn more snaps. His appeal is less about headline stats and more about fit: a blue-collar, assignment-sound defensive end who can hold the edge, bring pressure, and plug into a rotational role without needing the spotlight.
