Tiana Parker brings rim protection and low-maintenance frontcourt value to Tennessee State
Tiana Parker profiles as a defense-first forward whose best calling card has been shot-blocking and interior presence; in the 2016-17 season, she led Tennessee State in blocks and ranked eighth in the OVC with 1.3 blocks per game while starting 19 of 26 games.[9] There isn’t recent season-by-season stat data in the provided sources, so the clearest read is that she was valued for protecting the paint and giving TSU reliable minutes rather than pure scoring.[9] If you need a frontcourt player who can anchor the defense, that’s the appeal.
