Micah Young is a microwave scorer with real pop for Concord
In the 2025-26 season, freshman guard Micah Young emerged as a high-usage scoring spark for Concord, highlighted by a 39-point outburst at Wheeling and a 35-point game later in the year. He averaged 15.2 points per game, shot 83.0% at the free-throw line, and showed he can create offense in bunches when his shot is falling. What makes him interesting is the burst, confidence, and clutch rim-and-line pressure — he already looks like a guard who can swing a game fast, though consistency and efficiency will decide how high his ceiling climbs.
