Seaver Sheets brings live-arm upside, but command still has work to do
Sheets is a right-handed pitcher for UL Monroe who has shown swing-and-miss potential, but his early college results point to a development project rather than a finished product: over his first two college seasons he posted a 7.00 ERA in 18.0 innings with 13 strikeouts and 12 walks, then followed with a 2025 line of 6.00 ERA and 12.0 innings pitched. He was a highly regarded high school recruit, ranked No. 277 nationally by Perfect Game, and came out of a championship program at Sterlington, which suggests pedigree and competitiveness. [1][2][8]
