St. Bonaventure’s Intense 6’0" Shooting Guard with Elite Closeout Defense and 2025-26 Scoring Surge
Danny Farrell, the 6’0" (1m83) shooting guard for St. Bonaventure Bonnies, is a 2025-26 season standout whose differentiator isn’t just his 12.4 PPG average but his relentless intensity and elite closeout defense that disrupts opponents’ rhythm. Unlike typical guards, Farrell plays with a ‘next-play’ mentality, rarely fouling despite aggressive closeouts, and brings a quiet, workmanlike personality that elevates team cohesion. He has no significant injury history, maintaining 98% game availability since 2023, and his 41.2% three-point shooting (2025-26) reflects disciplined shot selection. For teams seeking a high-intensity, low-maintenance guard who excels in transition and perimeter defense, Farrell is a perfect fit—especially in Atlantic 10’s physical style. His 2025-26 stats show a 15% scoring increase from 2024-25, signaling rapid growth and readiness for higher competition.
